City Council (Environmental & Consumer Services) – Tackling
Harassment for Managers and Supervisors Our Equality of Opportunity Policy We state our unequivocal commitment
to working towards equality for all individuals, in our working relationships
as associates and colleagues, for our customers. We also aim to model anti-discriminatory practice in the way we work as consultants and facilitators. Our model of working is based on valuing differences and actively seeking different gender, race and disability perspectives and this is reflected in the diversity of our Associates base. We aim to ensure that our methods and techniques are free from bias to facilitate the participation of people with a range of abilities. We actively seek out the opportunity to work
with organisations that are addressing the area of equality. In our
work with organisations having a limited level of awareness, we will
actively raise and address these issues within the cultural boundaries
of those organisations. We work from a belief that anti-discriminatory
practice is integral to good practice.
